Revolution Rotors patented design improve brake lever feel
and functionality. For the rider who values high performance and top of the line
quality, the Revolution Rotors will meet the expectations of any serious rider
or racer. Feature for feature, we believe Revolution Rotors are the best
rotors on the market today.
Features:
- Full floating design ( optional noiseless float upon request )
- Carriers come standard hard anodized black or bronze with option of 9 different color
rivets ( carriers are available in other colors upon request )*
- Lighter than OEM
- Improved brake lever feel
Less force at lever to produce same stopping force
- Patented design continually cleans the pad surface
- Revolutionary design not only looks cool it actually runs cooler than any other
stainless steel rotor currently available
- The Standard Black and bronze carriers and rivets are made from Alcoa Billet
aluminum and hard anodized to military spec type 3 finish to improve durability
- Proprietary formulation of High Carbon 420SS that is spun cast in a patented
process that produces a radial grain structure with a near zero porosity
improving the strength and durability. The design is cut using a water jet to
reduce the amount of heat introduced into the part while cutting. This prevents
work hardening and micro fractures that can form during the heat treat stress
relieving process. After HT/SR the rotors are Black Zinc passivated to protect
the non contact surfaces from corrosion and the elements. The Zinc coated
rotors are then double disk ground to ensure they are flat and parallel. The
last step is to Cryogenically treat the rotors to stabilize and reduce any
remaining internal stresses in the metal.
- All parts are inspected 100%. Revolution Rotors are not
inspect by lots. Every rotor is individually inspected to insure it meets
manufacturing tolerances.
- The entire product is manufactured using materials and
machines made right here in the USA.
- Currently available for front only
THE
MATERIAL: The patented spun cast 420 High
Carbon Stainless Alloy is waterjet cut to ensure a stress free, accurate cut.
Parts are heat treated, stress relieved and double disc ground for a flat,
parallel part. Finally, the rotor is deep Cryo treated to -317 degrees
Fahrenheit for improved resistance to warping.
THE
ASSEMBLY: The patented rotor assembly is
designed in Solidworks, the latest in CAD technology. Available in full floating
and semi (noiseless) floating for any desired application.
THE
RETAINER: Floating retainers are made from 7075
billet bar and CNC machined to precise tolerances. Currently available in 9
standard color options.
THE HARDWARE:
All retaining rings and washers are custom manufactured
from 316 stainless steel specifically for this application. Hardware can be
configured for both road and track applications.
THE
CARRIER: CNC machined to precise tolerances for
6061 and 7075 billet aluminum. Standard black and bronze anodized to Military
Spec TYPE III Hard Finish for improved wear resistance and color longevity.
Seven option colors are available in TYPE II anodized for an additional charge.
*While the
anodizing process is designed to resist fading, all anodized products may fade
over years.
